Lenburg Marks Scrapbook's Anniversary With Free Color Photos

Next year (2025) will mark the 43rd anniversary of the publishing of Scrapbook, which is still considered to be the definitive book ever published on the iconic comedy team.
Co-authored by Moe's daughter, Joan Howard Maurer, and Greg's twin brother Jeff, Scrapbook was first published in 1982 by Citadel Press in hardcover and later in paperback. The book, intended to be a companion to Moe's autobiography, Moe Howard and The Three Stooges (1977) also published by Citadel, was a runaway bestseller.

A cartoonist by trade, he, better than anyone, understood the Stooges humor. He also knew how to help them adjust their work to a new audience in the the late 1950s and in the 1960s: children...children who clamored every day to sit in front of their television sets to laugh and enjoy, over and over again, the team's 190 classic two reel comedies which were released to TV for the first time in 1958 and 1959.
